Hotel Itineraries 

4 day example luxury tour  - Isle of Eriska to Mallaig

Embarkation point: Isle of Eriska Hotel.

Day 1 – Meet clients in evening at Isle of Eriska Hotel. Explain the itinerary for the days ahead. 

Day 2 - Meet clients next morning, and transfer to 'Integrity' at the Eriska Hotel pontoon for boarding. Explore the local area including Loch Creran, Falls of Lora and then call into The Boathouse, Kingairloch for lunch. After lunch make passage to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull and spend the night at Highland House Hotel.

Day 3 – Setting off from Tobermory, strike West to the north tip of the Isle of Coll where there are frequent whale sightings, then North passing the Isles of Muck, and in to visit the little café on the Isle of Eigg for lunch. Onward to Kinloch Lodge on the Isle of Skye for the overnight stay.

Day 4 – Travel from Kinloch Lodge across the Sound of Sleat into Loch Hourn (some say Scotland’s most beautiful Loch) and on to Mallaig to catch the train South, thereby enjoying the magnificent train journey through to central Scotland.   

 

3 day example hotel tour - Islay to Oban

Embarkation point: Port Charlotte Hotel on Islay.

Day 1 - Fly from Glasgow to Islay. Meet at the airport and transfer to Port Charlotte Hotel. 

Day 2 - Pick up from hotel and travel around the coast to Ardbeg Distillery for morning coffee and a distillery tour; then on to Isle of Gigha where the night would be spent at the Gigha Hotel. 

Day 3 – Start with a visit to the Achamore gardens, then set off by sea to the Isle of Jura for morning coffee, and a visit to Jura Distillery, then through the Sound of Islay and out to the Isle of Colonsay, with the night spent at the Colonsay Hotel.

Day 4 – To Oban via Corryvrechen (world's third largest whirlpool), looking out for otters which are often spotted in the nearby bay, then north to Oban via Easdale Island, stopping for lunch at the Puffer restaurant (or Oyster Bar on Seil Island). Drop off at Oban to return to Scotland's central belt by train or by seaplane.
